Queens native Teddy Santis founded his lifestyle brand Aimé Leon Dore in 2014, inspired by the effortlessly cool streetwear he saw growing up in New York City while immersed in hip-hop and basketball culture in the 1990s. Known for versions of old-school streetwear classics like tracksuits and 5-paneled caps, the Aimé Leon Dore brand brought a new elegance to the streetwear category, while maintaining a deep understanding of the city and its roots.
The New Balance 550 White Grey features a white leather upper with monochromatic perforated leather overlays and puffed New Balance logos. From there, a woven New Balance Basketball tongue label and matching sole completes the design.
