The Air Jordan 1 Bred, a shoe that started a legacy. In 1985, Nike teamed up with basketball superstar Michael Jordan to release the first Air Jordan, now known as the Air Jordan 1. The black and red colorway of the shoe gained notoriety as the “banned” Jordans, as it was rumored that the NBA banned them for violating the league’s dress code. Although this story was likely a marketing ploy by Nike, the shoe’s reputation as an iconic piece of sneaker history lives on.

The Air Jordan 1 Bred 2016 features a black and Varsity Red leather upper with Swoosh overlays and Wings logo detailing at the collar. Vintage-styled Nike Swoosh woven tongue tags add a classic feel. A white and red Air sole completes the design, providing comfort and support on and off the court.
