In honor of the 25th anniversary of Pokémon, McDonald’s has started including special commemorative Pokémon card booster packs in their Happy Meals. This promotion officially began on February 9, 2021, although some locations may have started earlier. Each envelope includes a toy and a 4-card booster pack, with each card featuring a special “25th Anniversary” star stamp. The booster pack checklist contains 25 cards, including popular characters such as Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle. Some McDonald’s locations are also selling the packs individually.
It’s important to note that the cover art for the envelopes is random, and each order of this product will come with an assortment of different variations. Within each envelope, you will find one toy and one special edition Pokémon card booster pack. The booster pack must still be sealed.
